Alice Wordsworth
Erin Blackmore

Alice Wordsworth is co-founder and co-artistic director of Rumble Theatre.  Previously she studied drama at the University of Exeter where she was President of Exeter University Theatre Company, the oldest and largest theatre society at Exeter. She was responsible for programming and directing works such as Tusk Tusk, Noises’ Off, The Kitchen Sink and Animal Farm on an array of stages from The Northcott Theatre to the Edinburgh fringe. Alice is currently mentored by Poppy Burton-Morgan, Artistic Director of Metta Theatre and has worked as an Assistant Director to Poppy on a number of projects, the Northcott’s outdoor performance of Comedy of Errors, (June '17), Metta Theatre’s circus adaption of The Little Mermaid and the Pop-Up Opera performances running at the Victoria and Albert Museum in the coming months. Alice is also a member of the National Youth Theatre and has worked in the marketing team for Kneehigh. Alice is doing an MFA in Theatre Directing at Birkbeck and is currently Resident Assistant Director at the Unicorn Theatre, London.




Erin Blackmore is co-founder and co-artistic director of Rumble Theatre. Previously she studied drama at the University of Exeter where she performed in productions (Connie in The Effect and in Edinburgh Fringe show The Fox and the Hound) as well as assistant directing After Mrs Rochester. Erin was Production Supervisor for Exeter University Theatre Company for several shows most notably Monster by Duncan Macmillan, which toured to Bristol as part of an exchange she initiated with Bristol University Dramsoc.  Erin worked as artist liaison for the Manchester International Festival 2015 show Wonder.land in conjunction with the National Theatre. Other recent experience has been in sales and marketing for small independent companies such as Experience Travel Group, Dash Water and The Biscuiteers. She is currently doing an MFA in Theatre Directing at The Lir Academy, Dublin.
